And it’s a
ten for M
The little
boy in my arms,
is all
grown up and ten.
I still sit
through his old pics,
and smile
now and then
With every
passing year,
you are
taller and grown.
I silently
cherish the moments,
when you left
me blown.
An year just
swept by,
with all of
us a home.
That also
made you and me,
bond beyond
our comfort zone.
We saw your
side , which to us,
was a space
completely unknown.
Things we
never thought you would,
do and then
call them your own.
With all
this came a lot of,
talks, chats
and notes.
Sometimes they
made us think,
about the
times and our dotes.
Being a
parent is not easy,
and we wonder
every day.
If what we
do is right,
in whatever
comes our way.
Self doubts
are part of this,
and so is this incessant pride.
When we see
you shine,
with compassion
& kind eyed.
Your dreams
are simple,
but your
passion is live.
I know one
day you will,
find all
what you strive.
For me you
are just ten,
and I will forever
hold your hand.
Sometimes
you may not need me,
but my eyes
will follow wherever you land.
All I wish you
good health,
lots of
kindness in your heart.
For the
living beings around,
who shall
always be your part.
