Just yesterday you were a little boy looking for all my
attention
Tagging behind me and calling out my names in every mention
Look at you now , all bright, tall and handsome
Full of energy and ready for every marathon
But I do miss those chubby cheeks which looked at me
Asking me to let him go so he can crawl more free
From day of teaching you hold a pencil ,to you weaving
stories
We have together travelled a long way and in all your glory
Holding you my little bundle of joy was the best feeling
ever
Still remember how scared I was but you failed me never
I wonder if you even remember clinging to me like forever
Though it gives me lots of pride to see your independent
endeavor
As you complete another beautiful year adding more charms
Let me hug you a little more before you out-grow my arms
My forever little boy who turns eleven today
